Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

We Dem Girlz

Roster: Remkoe, gReazy, Maestro

We Dem Girlz keep the top spot this week all for themselves. First of two tournaments they played this past week was Friday's GFinity but their only significant result was a series win over JJJ Squad (3-0). They could've gone on to win the whole tournament but they tried to sub in a player who had already played for another team earlier in the tournament which got the Disqualified in the semi-finals.

But the true reason why they keep the #1 spot this week is their impressive RLCS Qualifier 2 win. The first series was interesting, to say the least, when We Dem Girlz managed to reverse sweep Mock-it EU to advance into the online finals final (confusing right?) against Supersonic Avengers. Coming into this game I had We Dem Girlz spoiling SA's dream of making LAN and they did just that. We Dem Girlz showed why you can't mess with them and they're definitely going into RLCS LAN as a heavy favorite.

Flipsid3 Tactics

Roster: Markydooda, Kuxir97, M1k3rules, mye_bipod_4shor

Ohh Flipside ohh Flipside ohh Flipside. The bad boys of the week come in at 2nd place, after a long spell of sitting in the naughty corner, rubbing the sore wrists they have from ruler smacks. F3 first attempted to play Gfinity on Friday, and weirdly, and totally madly surprisingly, a player didn’t turn up, and they 2v3’d, and did terribly… who would have thought. They then played the RLCS on Sunday, and in what the critics of reddit are calling one of the best RL series ever, they lost 3-4 to Supersonic Avengers. This was unexpected and in all honestly, a pretty poor result from Flipside. Yes SA did play quite well in spots, but two insanely dominating games from Flipside, 5-1 in the first game, and a ridiculous 8-0 in the 6th game, really showed who was the better team in the showdown. Losing a series when you showed yourself capable of demolishing the opponent is hard, especially to some players it can really just get a bit much. Flipside went through a lot of turbulence, where they were forced to forfeit their 3rd place game due to not fielding the full roster in the time frame allowed. This furthered on to some awful PR from both the players and the organisation of Flipside on social media, but this was eventually sorted out and handled quite well… it just took a bit of time. It is seeming very likely that the main F3 team will attend the LAN, and in my opinion, and in a lot of the community's opinion, they will stay as the favourites to win it.

Mock-it eSports EU

Roster: Paschy90, Turbopolsa, Sikii

Mock-It have been busy this week with two Gfinitys and an RLCS online finals. They didn't face many particularly challenging opponents in either of their GFinity runs, where they won both of them. Going across both tournaments they beat Cow Nose 3-0, Unspecified 3-1, and newcomers New Archon 3-0. They didn't face any top 10 team along their journeys so it was no surprise they won both events.

Now, moving on to the good stuff: RLCS! It was online finals day last Sunday, and Mock-It faced We Dem Girlz in the semi-finals, and oh boy was it a hum dinger! They began by winning game after game against We Dem Girlz, to everybody's surprise. Eventually it was 3-0 up to Mock-It and it looked like a clean sweep could be inbound for them, but then something clicked with We Dem Girlz and the gears began to turn, and I don't think anybody expected what would happen next. We Dem Girlz proceeded to reverse sweep Mock-It and beat them 4-3. Mental. I guess eventually We Dem Girlz had to show up after playing pretty poorly by their stands in the first 3 games. This meant that Mock-It moved down to the 3rd place match, however there was to be no 3rd place match as their opponents Flipsid3 Tactics forfeited. This gave Mock-It 3rd place by default and they finish as the #3 seed in EU with 1665 points. They're off to Hollywood!

Doomsee

Supersonic Avengers

Roster: ELMP, Snaski, Doomsee, Kasabi

Supersonic Avengers remain in 4th position this week, with their only official results coming from the RLCS Q2 Online Finals. These finals were filled with controversy and upsets, in which SA played a central role. Their first BO7 matchup was to be against FlipSid3 Tactics. Many assumed that F3 were going to take this series with relative ease, and prevent SA from qualifying for the LAN finals. This however was not the case, and it became apparent that F3 came into the series unprepared, something that at this point is not necessarily surprising. Not only did F3 lack the edge and dominating, aggressive style that they usually have, but SA managed to put in a great defensive performance against a team that usually scores for fun. It was these two factors which allowed SA to grind out a result and take the series 4-3, and thus keep their chances of qualifying for the LAN very much alive.

In the final, Supersonic Avengers were to face WDG who just barely beat Mock-it EU, having to reverse sweep them 4-3 after going 0-3 down. WDG’s comeback against Mock-it demonstrated their power and it would take quite something for SA to achieve a win here. Rather inevitably they were unable to do so and were defeated 1-4. The series was however a competitive one, in which the score-line doesn’t necessarily do it justice. Overall SA, despite failing to qualify for the LAN finals, will be very happy with the way Q2 turned out, but may anger them more in regards to their Q1 failure. The Flying Dutchmen finish above them in the final points standings by just 5 points and secure that final LAN spot.

Crown & Jewels

Roster: Sebadam, Flarke, Scrub Killa, Kaydop

It's been a bumpy ride for Crown & Jewels this week, but they've been extremely active. They entered both GFinitys this week, the greedy sods. They won one of them by beating HyperioN 3-1 in the semi finals and then beating Head's Up 4-1 in the finals. In the other GFinity they lost their third match 3-1 vs. Dutch Sandwich. A key loss for Crown & Jewels isn't great news, but they redeemed themselves somewhat by winning ESL this week after beating Team ENJOY 4-0 in the finals. Thanks to the inactivity of The Flying Dutchmen and other teams, Crown & Jewels actually move up a spot this week. What a crazy world we live in.

Doomsee

The Flying Dutchmen

Roster: Dogu, Jessiepinkmaan, PauliepauINL, Vogan

The Flying Dutchmen were inactive this week due to not qualifying for RLCS online finals. But that doesn't mean they weren't watching RLCS. In order for TFD to make RLCS LAN they were hoping Supersonic Avengers lose at some point but SA decided to make TFD nervously bite their fingernails by beating Flipsid3 Tactics in the first round before ultimately falling to We Dem Girlz in the finals which secured Dutchmen's spot at RLCS LAN in Hollywood. They are definitely coming into LAN as an underdog but if other international tournaments are to be believed then TFD could find themselves beating one of the NA teams and shocking viewers.

MrLittleThor

Savage!

Roster: Bluey, Deevo

Absolute savagery bruh. I assume this is what they hear every time they destroy a weaker team in a tournament… elsewise the other team are missing out on a huge opportunity. Savage (with an exclamation point to show that they really are proper mental like) had a pretty ‘meh’ week, they played Gfinity monday and did quite well, up until playing a team of long standing high level RL players and losing 1-3, not quite the worst. They then went on to lose to the new team of New Archon, in the quarters of ESL, which isn’t all too great, but that team have shown themselves to be quite formidable recently. They move to the 7th place spot because the other teams close to them in the rankings have had similar ‘meh’-ey weeks. It is looking like the teams of 7th place and below in the power rankings could all change in any one week at the moment, with all of the 7th-16th place teams standing a good chance against any of the others. Who knows what will have changed by next week, the only way to find out is here, on “Top RL Dog Love Island” where teams face each other... and love each other.

Team ENJOY

Roster: Grandmaster Sexay, Friisisch, FreaKi

Team Enjoy have been on a rise ever since their impressive run in RLCS Q2, where they were a game away from qualifying for the groups. It was unsure if after this run they would fall off or continue to pull off impressive results. However, it’s safe to say, they have maintained their upwards streak, and have now finally made their debut into the top 10!

This week, team enjoy did not participate in any of the 3v3 Gfinity tournaments, so their climb up the rankings rest solely on their ESL performance. On their run to the final, they did not beat any teams that were in the top 10 last week, but they beat a few teams around them which helped their placing this week. From the round of 32, Team Enjoy played notable teams. In the Ro32 they faced a team consisting of KilEak, Jayless and Seeks, defeating them 3-1. KilEak and Jayless are currently looking for a 3rd to finish of their team, and have played the last two tournaments with seeks, so this team could become official. Next round they faced LowLandLions.RL, and beat them 3-1. After that they faced Kden. This would have been 11th vs 12th in the Power Rankings at the time, so this game would have had a big power ranking impact. Enjoy ended up taking that game 3-1 as well. (A bit of a trend setting here) In the semi final they played Cow Nose, and you guessed it they beat them 3-......0?! This then set them up to face C&J in the final, where they ended up losing 4-0, albeit it all games were close.

Aeriality

Roster: Piksel, Continuum, Metsanauris

Aeriality only participated in the Friday 3v3 tournament this week, where their results were not very impressive. They beat Never Lucky 3-1 followed by a 3-0 win against TILT EU, but then surprisingly went out 3-2 to Cow Nose. It should be noted that Cow Nose are on a rise (shown by their jump from 16th to 11th in the ranking this week) and also that since Kaydop left to join C&J (which is a big loss) Aeriality have only had 2 members on its roster, and therefore played this tournament with a sub. Since this result, Aeriality have officially picked up Metsanauris as their new third, so we shall watch with interest how Aeriality will perform this week. Metsanauris was previously on a team with Piksel called Challengers, so it will be interesting to see how well they perform together.

Woody

JJJ Squad

Roster: Krazack, JHZER, Ryuk

There’s very little to report on JJJ Squad currently as their only tournament this past week came from Friday’s Gfinity, In which there’s only 2 series of note. This included a 3-2 win over New Archon and a 0-3 loss to WDG. The series vs New Archon is probably the most telling of the series in regards to their ranking. New Archon are hovering just outside the top 10 this week in their maiden ranking. It’s this, as well as their past rankings which give JJJ a 10th position this week. Looking ahead, the teams behind JJJ do appear to be playing more frequently and this may result in JJJ falling even further, and being taken outside the top 10 for the first time in many weeks. I have no doubt however that with the players that JJJ have, they’re capable of beating pretty much every team outside of the top 6, so it’s their consistency of playing that’s letting them down.
