Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

Flipsid3 Tactics

Roster: M1k3rules, Markydooda, kuxir97

Since the last power rankings, Flipsid3 has performed in 3 major events, going 5-1 against Kings of Urban in the MLG Pro League - in a series where every game was close - a 2nd place Gfinity finish to Swarm Gaming, with pseudo team leader m1k3rules off being fêted like royalty. And then emerging as 4-2 victors over de_boers-less Swarm Gaming, coming back from a 4-0 deficit in the final contest to score 5 uncontested goals, proving once and for all that vogan’s theory “F3 crumble under high pressure” is a bunch of bollocks. With Swarm Gaming having the upper hand for #1 seed in MLG Pro League with one final series remaining for both teams (DeVoid Gaming for both of them, back to back on Thursday night), this is truly the greatest rivalry in Rocket League at the moment. Swarm Gaming seems to constantly be beating down the door for that #1 spot, but thus far Flipsid3 continues to give them the brushoff.

Swarm Gaming

Roster: paschy90, de_boer_bros, stocki1997

Swarm have emerged from their tombs to rival even the greatest of Rocket League players. I have no idea where they got their new superpowers from, but it's certainly making me wonder whether or not I should roll around in some nuclear waste. Swarm have turned up the heat yet again to beat Flipsid3 (minus M1k3rules) in the finals of GFinity, but lost to them in the finals of ESL (minus de_boer_bros), which means we didn't get a chance to see the two teams' full rosters go head to head this week. Alas, they may as well be tied for first with Flipsid3, but since they technically have never beaten Flipsid3 at full strength, we'll have to leave them at number two for now.

Euronics Gaming

Roster: xGodLiightx, Killerno7, SikiiCEM

EURONICS Gaming (formerly SupersonicStars) has always been a difficult team to read, especially recently. While they earned high placement on this list several weeks ago following an outstanding showing against Flipsid3 Tactics in ESL, the team would drop 3-0 to Flipsid3 two days later and then lost star player Stocki to Swarm Gaming in a swap for stellar defender SikiiCEM. It took a little recovery time, but EURONICS has finally begun a return to form. For the second week in a row, they placed 3rd at ESL, and continue to earn their top 5 placement. A little consistency can go a long way.

Team Shazoo

Roster: Oneill_clan, Vogan, Skyline, Meeps

There are few teams quite as captivating to watch on the defensive side of the ball as Shazoo. While most of their recent success has been while playing with meeps, Oneill's return signaled what could be a big change of pace for this emerging team. It should be said, though, that Shazoo is still finding their groove a bit with Oneill back in the lineup. Despite a brutal loss to Swarm at Gfinity and a repeat 4th place finish at ESL, they're on the verge of greatness, and with a combination like Oneill/Vogan/Skyline, they make one of the most explosive teams on paper, yet. Just need to put it into practice.

Team Rocket

Roster: Cole, Doomsee, I Am A Tree

Possibly the most entertaining, sexiest, and banterrific team, Team Rocket remains at the number 5 spot. Getting completely outclassed by Swarm at this week's GFinity left them going "well damn son, we gotta up our game!". And boy did they!? No, not particularly. I mean, ESL was like 2 days after GFinity, so they were pretty much at the same level, but they powered their way through to the Quarter-Finals nonetheless to go up 2-1 against EURONICS Gaming, only to lose 3-2. The games were insanely close by the way. Can Team Rocket power their way back up to the number 3 spot, maybe even number 1 some day!? I believe it. You believe it. You know it's happening, so prepare your butts.

Teamus Weamus

Roster: Wrong_Way_Woody, AFN1910, eLLooN, GBM_RevolutioN, UKscottUK

Flipsid3 Tactic's B Team you say? Teamus Weamus laughs in your face! The team continues to improve week after week, bumping up to number 6 this week. They battled their way to the RO16 at this week's ESL, taking 2 games from Team Rocket, until inevitably losing to the obviously sexier team. However, their improvements in their game have definitely been noticed. No longer are Teamus Weamus a team to shrug off. They sure as hell put up a fight in their matches, and I can see them doing very well in the future.

Generation of Billys

Roster: ZoopaNova, zoomytail, Puma4live, xXKhaelanXx, BUBE96

It’s good to see these guys have success. After doing a bit of a disappearance a couple of weeks ago, they’ve regrouped, making it to the quarterfinals in Sunday’s ESL before falling to Team Shazoo in a sweep, 3-0. They need to beat one of the top 5 teams to move up at all, but even without that kind of win, Zoomytail, ZoopaNova and the gang are solid fixtures in the EU top 10.

Team Renewal

Roster: al0t97, DerpDannie, kallysen

Team Renewal are another team that's jumping on the scene with flying colors. They seem to have come out of nowhere, with their best performance this week, getting to the RO16. They faced EURONICS Gaming, where they managed to clutch a game off them to lose 3-1. If they keep RENEWING their skills, they will only improve from here.

Ultima Team

Roster: dark-light-angel, Jim-Oh-Gee, Solanouch

By taking out Top 8 ESL contestant Wreck-A-Mended (pending results from yesterday’s games), to reach the ESL quarterfinals, Ultima makes their debut at #9. dark-light-angel, Jim-Oh-Gee, and Solanouch will have to build on that success if they’re planning on an extended stay, because right now we’re seeing quite a bit of flux in the top 10 at the bottom part of the ranking on a weekly basis. It’s a “what have you done for me lately” sorta world, so keep up the good work, Ultima!

Nice One Team

Roster: BruTzZ, Ganorph, gReazy, Sputosky

Emerging at the last Gfinity tournament, Nice One Team had been just lightly pinging the radar with better and better performances from week to week. It wasn't until this week that they really demonstrated what they were capable of. Picking up wins over YouMyZero and Talespinners, and making it all the way to the semi-finals on Friday, Nice One Team can certainly be one team worth watching going forward.
