Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

We Dem Girlz

Roster: Remkoe, gReazy, Maestro

After a third straight week of going undefeated (even with the sub assistance of Scrub Killa), We Dem Girlz continues to maintain the top spot in the EU Rankings for yet another week. Their sweep of the PPL qualifiers with 2-0 wins and performance in ESL make them perhaps Europe's most threatening team, but with the return of FlipSid3 Tactics to competitive play after 3 weeks off, I personally am eager to see the current #1 and the former dominant #1 clash sometime soon.

Supersonic Avengers

Roster: ELMP, Snaski, Doomsee

Stumbling into second place this week are Supersonic Avengers. This week was relatively hard to figure this spot on the rankings out because of somewhat lackluster performances from Avengers, Mock-it EU, and C&J. Those 3 teams didn’t put in a performance that could have convinced us that they were more worthy than the others of the second place spot. Shakiness in play aside, Supersonic Avengers manage to clinch this spot solely through their play in the Pulsar Premier League EU premier division qualifiers. Through these qualifiers they had beaten Crown & Jewels and KA-POW but those victories were overridden by the losses to Hard-on colliders and Precision Z. They didn’t participate in ESL or GFinity which could have helped them secure this spot on the rankings ahead of the other teams vying for the spot.

FlipSid3 Tactics

Roster: Markydooda, M1k3rules, Kuxir97, Mye_Bipod_4Shor

This past week saw FlipSid3 play their first tournament together for a while. They played in the new Mockit EU tournament which had them go on to win the whole thing. In the process they most notably defeated Ka-Pow twice as well as the new Flying Dutchman team. They dropped games in each series but overall their performance was convincing. As a result of this, they do climb two spots from last week up into 3rd. I imagine going forward they will also likely leapfrog Supersonic Avengers and Mock EU if they continue to play regularly in tournaments, as the legendary team still has immense firepower but previously lacked any competitive matches with which to justify a higher placement.

Mock-it eSports EU

Roster: Paschy90, Sikii, Miztik, ScrubKilla

Mock-It eSports competed in the inaugural Mock-It EU tournament this week, and struggled as the host team. In a rather shocking result, the former #2 ranked Mock-It lost 0-2 in a best of 3 to newcomers Unrivaled, forcing them into the lower bracket. There they faced #6 KA-POW, ending up on the wrong side of a 2-1 decision. While favoured to win this event (which #1 We Dem Girlz did not attend) they ended up tied for a disappointing 5th in the tournament, and ultimately dropping 1 rank in the Power Rankings.

Crown & Jewels

Roster: Killerno7, Yeezy, Stocki, ViolentPanda, Rocketpower

Crown and Jewels have had a rather disappointing week, a stark contrast to their rise the previous week. They participated in both Gfinity and ESL, as well as the Pulsar Season 2 qualifier. In this qualifier they played 6 rounds, achieving a 4-2 record. Their most notable games here were an 0-2 loss to the impressive Hard on Colliders, a 2-1 win over SnK, a 2-1 win over Comrade, a 1-2 loss to SA and a 2-1 win over ECN Surf. As you can see there are mixed results, most of which resulted in C&J dropping a couple of places this week, as such results are not worthy of a 3rd place. They did however qualify for the Pulsar Premier League and so their upcoming fixtures in that will prove interesting for sure. In Gfinity they had a similar story, if not worse, in which they were knocked out 3-0 in the quarter finals to a team containing 2/3 of Absolution and Snaski. In ESL they also had quite a disappointment, taking out Unrivalled but losing to Eff0rt, one of the teams to watch in the coming weeks. In conclusion it looks as if they may be having difficulties implementing ViolentPanda into the team. From a spectator’s perspective it seemed that Yeezy was a better fit for the team in terms of team balance. However, it may just be the team adapting to a new system so while I don’t see C&J dropping below 7th at all, I also don’t see them challenging the top 3 anytime soon so they’ll likely be scrapping in-between these ranks.

KA-POW

Roster: al0t, Sniperkid138, Turbopolsa

It's been a slightly mixed bag for KA-POW this week. During the Pulsar Premier League Qualifiers they picked up some expected wins over 0 Effort, Precision Z and Mockingbirds, all ranked below them, and they lost their matches vs. We Dem Girlz and Supersonic Avengers, who are both ranked above them. However, they suffered an unexpected loss from the rising stars that is Hard-On Colliders, who had a very impressive run in the PPL Qualifiers. Moving on to Mock-It, where KA-POW had a solid run all the way to the finals, taking out Mock-It EU and The Flying Dutchmen along the way. However they were taken out twice by the reappearing Flipsid3 Tactics, 2-1 and then 4-2. KA-POW were once considered a top 4 team in the Pro League days, but as of late their performances have been slipping. This last set of results shows they still have a fight to give, but after the pandemic of shifting EU rosters, there's plenty of thirsty players looking to take the top spots, and it's harder than ever before.

Doomsee

Precision Z

Roster: Tequilaz, Mikageishi, Dadooh

With a slight revision from their former team of BAM eSport, the group of Tequilaz, Mikageishi, and Dadooh (formerly of SK Gaming) come in strong with a top 10 placement, tying for 7th overall with the jump the former BAM team has taken. Performing solidly at this week with losses only to Team Shazoo, Crown & Jewels, KA-POW and We Dem Girlz and gaining a very big win over Supersonic Avengers, it was hard to rate PZ very low at all. Thanks to this effectiveness, PZ is definitely a team to watch in the coming weeks as we make our way through April and inch closer to the start of the RLCS in May.

Shalthis

The Flying Dutchmen

Roster: Vogan, Dogu, Jessiepinkmaan, PauliepaulNL

The Flying Dutchmen jump up a spot into a tie for 7th due to one strong performance. This week saw the start of the EU Mock-it league tournament with a low turnout of only 15 teams but The Flying Dutchmen still managed to prove their ability by placing third. En route to their third place result they beat 2 teams – Dot Dot Dot and Unrivalled – who are on the outside looking into the top 10 and only losing to the 6th ranked team this week in KA-POW. I would've liked to see them play in ESL to help break this deadlock at 7th but this team still needs to work more to crack the top 5

MrLittleThor

Hard-On Colliders

Roster: Aeleksander, Jayless, MummiSnow, Reteq

Coor, what a week these guys had! I'll just lay out their impressive wins one after another for ya: 2-0 vs. Crown & Jewels, 2-1 vs. Supersonic Avengers, and 2-1 vs. KA-POW. All three of these results took place during the PPL Qualifiers, which of course earned them their place in the Premier Division. Whilst they had three impressive wins, they did lose 2-0 to We Dem Girlz, 2-0 to Precision Z, and 2-1 to Mockit EU. All of these teams were ranked above them, so these are some expected results, but with their key victories under their belt, this definitely earned Hard-On Colliders a spot in the top 10. I can see these guys moving higher than this in the future with the way they're playing.

Doomsee

Absolution

Roster: Masterio, xXKhaelanXx, GingerNinjaDT9

Absolution screamed onto the EU Power Rankings last week, having defeated Precision Z, Symphony and Team_letim. This week they to climb one rank (barely scraping past Comrade Gaming) to make their top 10 debut. This week I’d like to introduce you to Masterio (or Master, to his friends), xXKhaelanXx, and GingerNinjaDT9. Last week with two thirds of their normal roster, and Snaski they managed to 3-0 Crown & Jewels in GFinity, before losing to 1-3 to the eventual tournament winning Team Shazoo. More impressive, though, was their best of five series against We Dem Girlz at ESL, where they took WDG to a full five games before eventually losing. Let me put this into proper perspective for you: in the last 3 weeks, no other team has been able to force a series-deciding game 5 against We Dem Girlz. Yes, WDG has been that good, and Absolution came oh so close to ending that absolutely’ dominating streak.
