Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

FlipSid3 Tactics

Roster: Markydooda, Kuxir97, M1k3rules

Some might say we on the Power Ranking Committee need to eat a big ol slice of humble pie after placing FlipSid3 at #2 last week over the team they obliterated during RPL Week 3. While I can understand the sentiment, I still stand by my rankings and I'm sure the committee does, too. However, with that being said, F3 made a true return to form this week, not only capturing Gfinity but also moving on to defeat former #1 Crown & Jewels 4-1 in the RLC Pro League. If FlipSid3 can keep the momentum up, then it may be a long time before another team challenges their spot again

Crown & Jewels

Roster: Paschy90, Yeezy, Killerno7, Sikiicem

Crown and Jewels move down one spot to #2 this week. After being ranked at #1 last week there was a resulting discussion in the comments section; this added more fuel to the massive game between Flipsid3 and Crown & Jewels, where the winner was likely to be ranked at #1 this week. This seemed to fire up F3 and they seemed back to their best, resulting in a convincing 4-1 in Flipsid3's favour. 2/3 of C&J also entered Gfinity under the name 'Remember Our Names' with super sub Kronovi. They managed to reach the final, falling to Flipside3 4-2 in games. Therefore, these two direct loses to Flipsid3 have demoted C&J below them, but with a final appearance in Gfinity, and the best record in the EU side of the Pro League, they are a definite 2nd. C&J have Noble Esports this Sunday, and they will be looking to quickly bounce back from the defeat against Flipsid3 to keep a hold of their lead in the Pro League.

Supersonic Avengers

Roster: ELMP, gReazy, Maestro, Snaski

Supersonic Avengers achieve 3rd place this week on the Power Rankings due to their continued strong performances, combined with teams below them stagnating somewhat. Their only tournament games came from the Pro League, with a 4-1 victory over 7th ranked Spectral. That series as a whole was a fairly dominating performance in which SA showed themselves to be the far superior team in that matchup. Two members of the SA roster did also participate in Gfinity with Scrub Killa substituting in. They however lost to a fairly unproven team of known 1v1 players, named The Flying Dutchmen, in the quarter-finals. This may point to a poor performance from the SA players, but most likely is due to a lack of pre-existing synergy between the make-shift roster. Therefore, this performance does not weigh particularly heavily for their placement this week. Perhaps a more important contributing factor to their placement not only this week but also last week, is the drop off in SK and myXMG. SK having recently lost Yemen have still looked competitive but so far lack the cutting edge they previously had to challenge SA’s 3rd place. Additionally, myXMG have had a gradual stagnation in performance over the last few weeks since their big boom onto the scene, and therefore SA’s relative consistency is enough to maintain their 3rd spot. Watch out in future weeks to see how SA develop, as their player skill is almost unrivalled but they have not been without fault as evidenced by their 0-5 loss to Crown and Jewels in the Pro League 2 weeks ago. They have a bye in the Pro League this coming week, so look to the Gfinity Invitational to see how they perform.

SK Gaming

Roster: X3MW, Dadooh, JHZER

It's been a much needed week off for SK Gaming as they look to regroup following a significant downturn in their recent performance since the departure of Yemen. With a matchup against Spectral coming this Sunday - as well as the Gfinity Invitational on Saturday - SK will need to be back in fighting form if they hope to return to their former glory.

Roster: al0t, Sniperkid138, Turbopolsa

Mustering up a clutch reverse sweep in what honestly looked like a losing 5 game series, myXMG was able to counteract the turbocharged Noble offense and write down 3 wins in a row to finish the series 3-2. Despite this fantastic comeback, myXMG fell into a familiar position during Gfinity as they were able to just make it into the quarters, however were met by a less than friendly Remeber Our Name. So what was significant for these boys for the week? Well a 3-0 over Manteca and a 3-1 vs Stoic is a decent starter, and obviously we witnessed the 3-2 over Noble as well. It's not much to propel them anywhere, however last week they get some better-ish numbers and also haven't had to face anyone directly beneath them. Looking forward, we at least are expecting to see them play in Gfinity's Invitational tournament and of course their match up against FlipSid3 is going to be pretty important too. So all in all, myXMG have a tough week ahead of them, but if they can snatch some key wins, it'll help keep them where they're at or even put them up a notch higher if things play out right.

Noble eSports

Roster: Skyline, Vogan, Stocki1997, Meeps

Noble have had a considerable comeback over the past two weeks and have showcased some of the form they used to have prior to their internal problems. They leapfrog Spectral in the rankings to 6th spot. They participated in just the Pro League this week, going up against myXMG and narrowly losing 2-3 in a very tight set of games. They started the set off strong going 2-0 up, only to lose from a strong resurgence from myXMG. These past two weeks of Pro League have demonstrated Noble’s significant increase in performance, being able to once again compete against the top teams, with Stocki’s personal performance massively improving. He currently has the highest goals scored per game of any player in the Pro League, EU and NA combined. A further point to mention also is the very slight drop off in Spectral’s performance, dropping matches in Gfinity series to much lesser opponents like Team Nope and Bootz N Catz, as well as the convincing series loss to Supersonic Avengers in the Pro League. With Stocki’s significant performance improvement, and the team coordinating much better with their new implemented strategy, they may have the capabilities to challenge myXMG and SK in the future, especially with those team’s current stagnation. Watch out for this in the coming week, especially in the highly anticipated Gfinity Invitational.

Roster: TJShorty, remkoe, Miztik

Coming off a tough 1-4 loss to Supersonic Avengers in the RLC Pro League, Spectral move down just 1 spot this week. Over the past 2 weeks they've had some solid wins against teams like Bootz N Catz, Nope, Galactic Lions, The 3 Musketeers, Stoic, and Team Solid. Their losses to Crown & Jewels, SA, & FlipSid3 Tactics are not entirely unexpected considering where they are ranked but in order to move up any higher they'll need to be able to do more than just beat the teams that are ranked below them. They are certainly a team that should not be underestimated as they've shown in many of their close matches against the best of EU Rocket League. Their play-style really forces opponents to earn a win against them, but at times can be a bit inconsistent. These inconsistencies are really the only thing holding this group back from becoming a mainstay in the top half of the Power Rankings.

Team Rocket

Roster: Doomsee, Cole, Wrong_Way_Woody, Oneill

Team Rocket move up two places this week, mainly due to the performances of the teams above them rather than their own performance. However that is not to say that TR had a bad week, in fact they had a quarter-finals appearance in Gfinity, where they were knocked out by eventual winner’s Flipsid3. They also had a finals appearance at ESL, losing to AneVia RL 4-1. However, this is still a step down from last week and a similar performance next week could demote them down a few positions. Team Rocket have ambitions to establish themselves as the best team that's not in the Pro League, and they have a chance to prove their skill this Saturday at the Gfinity Invitational. Their performance there may be the main factor in deciding whether they move up or down the rankings next week.

The 3 Musketeers

Roster: ViolentPanda, Ryuk, RingTelefonRing

After a pretty darn good showing at last week's ESL, T3M have done..uhh...not quite so good this week. They made it to the quarter finals only to be taken down by Premature Eja- I mean Premature Evacuation 3-1. Whilst T3M were quite comfortable in the middle of the top 10 a couple of weeks ago, they are slowly falling down the rabbit hole. If they don't start their training montage soon, it doesn't look likely they'll stay in the top 10 for long.

AneVia RL

Roster: FaNaTiz, Killarnaud, S_TONYDARK, Chausette45, wesh92, PlaY0urLife

It was like watching El Clásico during last Sunday's ESL Finals, if El Clásico had zero Spanish players and featured two extremely average teams. Last week's champions Team Rocket were denied a chance at a double ESL Champions Title Belt after AneVia RL smacked them down 4-1 like the peasants they are. This victory has boosted AneVia RL into the top 10, but they'll have to continue with their impressive performances if they are looking to go any higher.
