Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

Crown & Jewels

Roster: Paschy90, Yeezy, Killerno7, Sikiicem

Let us all raise a glass and toast the newest members of the EU elite, Crown & Jewels. As they commandingly assume the #1 spot this week, they now join the company of only 2 other teams who have held that distinction since the dawn of the EU Power Rankings (FlipSid3 Tactics & SK Gaming). Over the past several weeks, C&J have been on an absolute rampage, defeating highly ranked teams left and right and slowly but surely earning the respect of the region. The length of their reign is tenuous, however, as the previous title holder, FlipSid3 Tactics, currently lurks just below and are well known to completely dominate the scene at a moment's notice. We haven't seen these two teams square off in quite some time, so the match-up looming ahead in the RLC Pro League looks to be a very intriguing one and could very well be the decider for which team ends up with the #1 EU seed. The stats that C&J have managed to put up in the RLC Pro League, though, are unmatched by any other team and they currently seem destined to not only earn a top seeded play-off berth, but also look like a true contender for the championship title.

FlipSid3 Tactics

Roster: Markydooda, Kuxir97, M1k3rules

The time has come once again. The great and powerful FlipSid3 Tactics has fallen into 2nd place in the EU Power Rankings. While this shouldn't come as a surprise after the dominating showing Crown & Jewels has displayed in recent weeks, it should spark a bit of a fire underneath the likes of M1k3, Marky, and Kuxir to potentially change their approach as many teams appear to have found the answer to the unstoppable F3. While they are by no means weak or susceptible to losing, their juggernaut status has definitely been relaxed, and hopefully when the top 2 teams meet at the next RLC Pro League regular season match, we'll get more clarity.

Supersonic Avengers

Roster: ELMP, gReazy, Maestro, Snaski

Supersonic Avengers managed to bounce back after a rough outing against new #1 Crown & Jewels at the RLC Pro League last week. Supersonic put together an impressive 4-1 shanking of SK Gaming in week 2 of the RLC Pro League. So what did Supersonic do so well to help them bounce back from a rough outing against Crown & Jewels in week 1? They managed to outgun their opponent in a riveting matchup, shovelling 59 shots on net (more than any other team that week), while surrendering only 43 against. The only blemish to an otherwise stellar week was an early 2-3 exit against Galactic Lions at the ESL Monthly Finals. If Supersonic can hammer out these swings in consistency, they will remain truly a force in the European Rocket League scene.

SK Gaming

Roster: X3MW, Dadooh, JHZER

Ever since Yemen's departure two weeks ago, SK Gaming has struggled to find their footing and they take a tumble into 4th place. Following a 4-1 set loss to Supersonic Avengers in RPL, SK needs to go back to the drawing board and find a strategy that will prove effective now that Yemen - one of their most proficient goal scorers and salt shakers - is no longer a part of that unit

myXMG

Roster: al0t, Sniperkid138, Turbopolsa

Being the team of the week to get their bye, myXMG tries to get some playtime in last friday's Gfinity. Unfortuantely, due to the new grouping of what was essentially 2/3 Supersonic Avengers + Scrub Killa, myXMG dropped out pretty early in the tournment with only getting a win against FireWall. The once ranked #3 in the EU Power Rankings, myXMG is struggling to get key wins against top teams like they used to, and it really seems like other teams are eager to take their position. The question for myXMG is: how will they fair next week? Noble showed us that they haven't been sleeping this entire time and are ready to dethrone some teams, so will myXMG be able to shut them down?

Spectral

Roster: TJShorty, remkoe, Miztik

Spectral continue to show much promise, but have yet to nail the consistency needed to push them back into the Top 5. Over the past week, they've managed to take the new #1 team (Crown & Jewels) to 7 games in the ESL Monthly Finals, but then lost unceremoniously to them in the RLC Pro League, 0-5. The 3-0 wins over The 3 Musketeers, Stoic, Team Solid, and Manteca_FC are definitely solid, but aren't quite enough to move them up past 6th this week. They do face Supersonic Avengers this weekend in the RLC Pro Leagu, though, and could seriously help their case should they come away victorious in that match-up. They certainly look like a dark horse to make a push for the playoffs, but will need to lock in victories against the rest of their opponents to secure a date with destiny

Noble eSports

Roster: Skyline, Vogan, Stocki1997, Meeps

Jumping out with a completely unexpected exhibition, Noble appeared to be an entirely changed squad from last Friday. Being one of the many teams to get bitten by the nasty bug that was We Dem Boyz, it almost appeared that Noble hadn't even entered the tournament. Alas, Noble wiped that memory from their brains and squared up against F3 last Sunday which ended up in an extraordinary performance. Of course a 2-3 loss is still a loss in the series of 5 games, but taking the then #1 team down twice and really making them work for the wins as well as pulling off some spectacular plays themselves, Noble appears to be back in their former glory. Although we obviously need to see some more results to confirm this prediction, I am very confident in their future.

The 3 Musketeers

Roster: ViolentPanda, Ryuk, RingTelefonRing, Antikeks

Dropping 2 spots this week, the adventures of Athos, Porthos, and Aramis continue their journey this week at the #8 spot. They performed solidly this week in ESL, with Antikeks subbing in for ViolentPanda, by beating LMR en route to losing to Team Rocket in the Finals 2-4. The only other tournament we saw them in was the ESL monthly final and they lost out to Spectral 0-3. In order for T3M to go further up the power rankings we need to see more solid ESL performances along with participation in GFinity. After bursting onto the power rankings last week and holding their spot in this week’s power rankings, will we see them as a mainstay for a while to come? They are nipping at the heels of Noble for the #7 spot and they definitely have the quality to overcome them.

Galactic Lions

Roster: D3tin, Flarke, zoomytail

A few weeks back, Doomsee told us to keep an eye on Galactic Lions, and boy, was he right! Over the holidays and into the new year the Lions have been on a tear. Last week alone they had a 3-0 against Stoic, but more impressively, defeated #3 Supersonic Avengers 3-2 and managed to steal 2 games against #2 ranked Flipsid3 Tactics at the ESL December Monthly Finals. This is nothing short of a shot across the bow for some of the established teams like myXMG, Spectral, and Noble eSports, who need to watch out — The Galactic Lions are in their rear-view mirror and are gaining fast.

Team Rocket

Roster: Doomsee, Cole, Wrong_Way_Woody, Oneill

Prepare for trouble and make it double the ESL wins for Team Rocket as they find themselves back into the Top 10 this week. En route to becoming champions of this week’s ESL we saw TRRL beat out a large amount of notable teams - such as FireWall 3-1, Bootz N Catz 3-0, - and wound up beating T3M 4-2 in the finals. But ESL wasn’t the only tournament that the boys from Team Rocket did well in! Their GFinity performance was highlighted by victories over Dot3 3-2 and Reckless Icarus 3-1 but they suffered defeat to the always powerful Flipsid3 Tactics 1-3. Will Team Rocket keep blasting up the power rankings or will we see them blasting off? It all depends on what version of TRRL shows up.
