Welcome to the Rocket League Power Rankings!

Each week, our committee will be ranking the best teams based on a variety of criteria as well as providing commentary on the teams who make it into the Top 10. The committee is comprised of players, content creators, fans, analysts, & coordinators to help diversify opinions and come to a general consensus. Each committee member has their own method for determining team rankings (ranging from stat-tracking to instinct), but they only count for a single vote since the individual ranks are averaged together. Each member will also list a team that didn't quite make the Top 10, but they feel is on the rise and should be watched.

While we do our best to ensure that we are fair and impartial, it is important to remember that these are just opinions and will most likely change weekly. If you have any questions, thoughts, or suggestions, please send them our way. We’d love to hear from you!

Abyss eSports

Roster: Express, Addzey, Cyrix, Debat

The extended silence from Athletico has proven damning for them as Abyss climb to the top of the power rankings for the first time! Abyss’ continued grinding has paid dividends as now their position in the power rankings reflects their position on The Chase. Consistent finishes in the top 2 in tournaments over the course of the last month have been the telling factor for them. With the help of the relatively new addition of Cyrix, Abyss have been putting in some powerhouse performances. We’ll see in the coming weeks if they can hold on to their spot!

Roster: Bango, Montyconnor, SnarfSnarf, Jcooke

With a new power ranking team, and a crazy week of OCE Rocket League comes controversy! We see basically no power ranker able to find consistency in the top 4, with picks all over the place. We saw Legacy, Alpha Sydney and Abyss all win tournaments this week with impressive showings. All 3 teams are putting in the effort to test out new things and are looking better for it. I am expecting to cop a bit for my personal ranking of Athletico as after winning the RLOC and CGp. They probably have the most potential at the moment for a big tournament win. For week in week out power rankings though they were only able to achieve 1 top pick from the 4 rankers. I have been craving to see the awesome force that is Athletico back in action, but as it stands they are in serious danger of not even making the finals of The Chase, sitting on 0 points, where there is some decent money up for grabs. Athletico are an insanely strong team and if they win some tournaments soon should be able to make the finals, so hopefully they get involved. It could be argued to be the off season for RL, however all the other top teams are getting good solid match practice in, especially with the new RLO Chase concept finals coming up. They are playing each other in high end competitive gameplay in finals of tournaments. It is now impossible for me to overlook this experience the other teams are gaining for when Athletico return to the scene. Please prove me wrong Athletico! Show me that I have no idea what I am talking about!

Roster: Soma, Orion, Eren, Penor

Having been the only team to defeat Abyss this week, Legacy seem to be regaining their form of old, doing it in style with a 3-0 sweep of Abyss in the RLO Grand Final. Proving that they deserve to hold 3rd spot, losing out in Tuesday nights Gameroos tournament to eventual winners Alpha Sydney, these teams are trading blows week in, week out. Legacy will be looking to make the jump over Athletico with their activity in both RLO and Gameroos tournaments at an all time high. Will we finally be seeing the Legacy of Season 2 back on top?.

Alpha Sydney

Roster: Dumbo, Dicky, Stoney, GroovyGrape

Alpha Sydney have shown some strong performances early in the week. Their victory on Tuesday night, competing against Legacy eSports revealed their true finesse as a team, admittedly Legacy didn't have their full lineup but overall the games were interesting to watch. Similarly their victory the next night was of similar circumstance, beating Phoenix gaming 3-0 in the 2v2 tournament. Their luck turned on the Thursday night, making it to the semifinals of the gameroos competition, abruptly cut down by Abyss eSports, ending their finals dream. Similarly Team FuroX took them out in the second round of RLO, an upset defeat but close games none the less. Overall a pretty strong week from Alpha Sydney, they have shown they have the potential to be the top dogs and hopefully we can see them perform even better next week!

Corvidae (Simple Physics)

Roster: Siki, Daisu, Daze

Having not competed in the previous RLO A’s tournament, Corvidae have shown up this week with the aim of taking out both the Tuesday and Thursday Gameroos tournaments. Taking on Alpha Sydney in Tuesday nights grand final and taking the first two games out, it never looked like Corvidae would lose. It seemed that the use of Nerd as a substitute for the night may have cost them however, as Alpha Sydney managed to take out the reverse sweep and forcing Corvidae out in the worst fashion possible. Things were looking good for Corvidae on Thursday night as they returned with their full core team, heading into the Grand Final against eventual winners Abyss with heads held high. Corvidae took the grand final down into the 5th game and unluckily went down hard. We can be expecting great things from this Corvidae team.

Roster: yumi_cheeseman, aoe_emp, DabeastXD, Julz

The Gameroos are still looking strong in the scene and have probably slipped the one spot in the rankings due to Julz being tried out in all three positions. Personally I like this technique as it should pay dividends for the big tournaments as it is so important to try out every combination of a sub in real game situations against quality opposition. There have been too many times I have seen a sub come into their side where they just don't mold as well as they might with the other two. In RLO A’s they ended up losing 2-1 to the now top Abyss eSports Club. The Gameroos side isn’t seeing the same love from the new power rankers at the moment and we will see if the Gameroos can come out, bag themselves a tournament, and regain their much loved higher position in the rankings.

FuroX (Trinity)

Roster: Zepsy, Toxic95, Jcoffee, Kapow_power

Furox are looking HOT. As the former Trinity side move forward they are in the mix of every tournament they play. Moving forwards will last weeks form they beat Alpha Sydney 2-0 before losing 0-2 to the eventual winners of Legacy in the RLO A Bracket. They also made it to the Semi Final of the Gameroos tournament on Tuesday. This team has potential to beat top teams as they beat Legacy the previous week and now Alpha Sydney this week. A team that had potential, now unbanned from the main league, are able to shine.

Team Erase

Roster: Lukorice, Fachy, KawaiiNekoWaifu, Effex

The “new” Team Erase have come out with some inconsistent results that, in my opinion, don't reflect upon their potential. The early week held a shaky start from the boys, not making it out of the group stages in the Tuesday gameroos tourney was a bit of a wake-up call. They turned on their A game later on in the week getting straight into the semifinals of the Thursday night competition with some close games against other teams in the power rankings, revealing their strength as a team. Unfortunately for them their RLO result was a bit shaky as they lost in the first round. The overall teamplay is impressive and they can definitely show the top teams how it's done, and maybe in the next few weeks they may be moving up.

Roster: Jake the Tyrant, Triggsy109, Waterblitz, WhiteWolf

A new addition to the top 10 is unpredictable team of Blitzkrieg. The varying ratings from the PR team draws parallels to their inconsistent results in recent tournaments. However, they are absolutely a formidable team able to contend with the strongest of collectives; their largest scalp to date being the current roster of iBP, albeit on Oceania servers. You can never know what to expect from this team, but you can always expect them to come out firing. If they can string more good results together they will have no problem securing their spot in the top tier of OCE.

Cone Zone

Roster: Dogpa, Freak, Nerd, Jatz

An interesting addition to the scene this week with the Cone Zone team coming out from almost nowhere. This is a team that stuck into the 10 because of its potential in a scene that is a bit of a mess outside of the Top 7. Dogpa (Heart & Swole), Freak (Reload), Nerd (Team Erase FD) and Jatz (Team Supremacy) have teamed up to form a new team on the block. Dogpa and Freak apparently a twin brother combination coming together! This team gets it ranking mostly out of the fact that in a scene with so many changes at the moment, and players from previous well ranked teams, it is a team that should slot in nicely around 10th. Cone Zone in what I believe to have been their first tournament as a team beat Team Erase 2-1 but were then eliminated shortly after by Gameroos 2-0. They are showing promise as a side and I look forward to seeing if they can hold onto, or even improve on this placing in the rankings.
