Happy New Year! We’re just two weeks into 2022 but Psyonix have continued to create all-new DLC for us, and one of the best for some time has just launched on the in-game item shop!

This time around Psyonix and Epic Games have partnered with McLaren to bring the sensational McLaren 765LT to Rocket League.

First unleashed on the world back in 2020 (which, frustratingly, is no longer last year) the gorgeous McLaren 765LT sports 755 horsepower, a claimed 0 - 60 speed of 2.7 seconds, and is limited to just 765 units worldwide. 

In-game though, the 765LT is the same speed as every other battle car, and is based on the Dominus hitbox which looks like it should fit fairly well. It’s also significantly cheaper than it’s real life counterpart, which is great because I’m not sure I can scrape together 60 million credits just yet.

Sadly, the new McLaren has similar restrictions to the old 570S, preventing the use of global decals, custom paint finishes, toppers, and antennas. You can select any unlicensed boost, trail, and goal explosion however.

The body is available as part of a bundle which contains the following:

The full bundle comes in at a cool 1100 credits for the body and five items, which is in-line with all of the recent single-body DLC releases. 

The McLaren 765LT and associated items are available from today, January 12th, for just one week until January 18th. It’ll likely return to the store at some point in the future, but as always there’s no information about when that might be, so get it quickly if you want it.
